Thomas College

Rebecca Fletcher has joined the Thomas College Women’s Basketball Program for the 2025-26 season after a long and successful coaching career at both the collegiate and high school levels.

Most recently Fletcher was a Women’s College Assistant Basketball Coach from 2019 – 2024 at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. where she recruited across the State of Maine, the U.S, and Canada and scouted conference and non-conference opponents for the Owls. Prior to that

Coach Fletcher was the Women’s Varsity Basketball Head Coach from 2016 – 2019 at Dirigo High School, and a Varsity Assistant at Mt. Blue High School for two years helping the Program to two Eastern Maine Tournament appearances in 2015 and 2016. From 2011 to 2014 she was the JV Coach and a Varsity Assistant for the Spruce Mountain Phoenix who recorded a 55 and 4 record during that time. Fletcher was the Men’s Varsity Basketball Head Coach in 2010 – 2011 at Dirigo High leading them to a Westen Maine Championship and the State Runner-up.

Fletcher had a stellar playing career at Dirigo High School where she capped off her senior season by scoring 35 points in leading the Cougars to a State Championship over Calais High School. She went on to play collegiate basketball at UMF where she was a captain, an All-Conference selection and helped lead the Beavers to two National Tournament appearances.
