Michael Laverriere

Michael Laverriere is currently serving as a Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Thomas College. He began in February of 2026

Prior to his current role, Laverriere served as the Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach for the New Hampshire National Guard from 2023 to 2025. In this role, he directed physical readiness programming for service members, managed performance data, and collaborated with interdisciplinary medical and performance teams to enhance operational readiness and reduce injury risk. 

Laverriere also held positions with the 10th Mountain Division in Watertown NY, served roles as a graduate assistant for the University of Maine and the University of Connecticut, and as a sports performance coach at Skolfield Sports Performance in southern Maine.

Laverriere earned his Master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Human Nutrition from the University of Maine. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), USA Olympic Weightlifting Coach (USAWL1), Precision Nutritionist (PN1), and holds a Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) 1 & 2 Certification.
