Lacey Campbell joined Terriers Women's Soccer as an assistant for the 2022 season and was promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2024. Her on-field primary role has been working with the goalkeepers, in which the 2024 season resulted with Terrier goalkeeper, Emily Rock, receiving post season conference honors, voted to the NAC east division 2nd Team. Additionally, Lacey contributes to various components of full team training that has been vital to development and growth of the program. Â
Lacey also currently coaches Maine's Olympic Development Program 2012 girls' team. She's had previous roles as the director of coaching for Central Maine United SC, lead the Winslow High School Girls Soccer program, and was the soccer coordinator for Winslow Rec. Before that she spent time with Waterville Senior High School girls' soccer and Colby Women's Soccer as an assistant and goalkeeper coach.Â
Prior to moving to Maine, Lacey carried out a two-year stint at Thomas More College in northern Kentucky, assisting both the men's and women's soccer program. While there, both teams achieved back-to-back Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships. The women went 42-3-2 over the two seasons and made trips to the Elite 8 and Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.Â
Lacey earned her degree in Physical Education K-12 along with a Certification in Coaching from Wesley College '12, was a team member and captain for their women's soccer program. She further gained semi-professional playing experience in the WPSL. She holds a U.S. Soccer C License, United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper 1 & 2 Diplomas, and LGBT Diversity and Inclusion Diploma. Lacey resides in Waterville, ME with wife Amber and toddler son Warren.
