Sandy Parlato

Sandra Parlato was hired as an assistant coach during the 2020-2021 season and is rejoining the Terriers to kick off their 24 season.

A native of Needham, Mass., Sandy comes to Thomas with prior experience as a multi sport  athlete and captain having attended boarding school in our great state of Maine. Continuing her love for athletics and lacrosse, She has served as a head coach at Melrose High School mentoring a team of 20 players, as well as her involvement with the JV and freshman programs. She is often found responsible for creating comprehensive practice and game plans while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.

Along with her high school lacrosse coaching experience, Parlato has spent a number of years coaching ice hockey. Parlato a DI Ice hockey player made the switch to return home to Boston to finish her collegiate career & studies at The University of Massachusetts Boston.  Post college she earned her NASM PT Certificate from The American Academy of Personal Training in Boston.

While she absolutely loved every minute of her studies and collegiate ice hockey career in Boston, she has a true passion for coaching and especially coaching " The Creator's Game " She finds great joy in sharing and expanding the rich history of the ancient North American sport of Lacrosse for all those who are equally passionate for the game.

She is especially grateful & passionate about her return involvement with the Terrier's and supporting Coach Daly & the programs efforts to breakthrough the glass ceiling of Women's Collegiate Lacrosse as they continue to develop into a formidable opponent in the North Atlantic Conference.
