TIm Matteson was hired as an men's assistant Lacrosse coach in spring 2022. 

Matteson works mostly with the Terriers’ defensive unit. He is also in his fifth season as the Head Boy's Lacrosse coach at St. Dominic Academy in Auburn, Maine. Prior to that he was an assistant coach at Lewiston High School for four years and spent four as an assistant coach at a couple of high school teams in Tennessee. 

Matteson graduated from Castleton State College in 1995 with a B.S. in communications/journalism with a minor in coaching. He also completed a teaching program in physical education at Middle Tennessee State University in 2012 and recently earned a M.S. in Sports Management from Lasell University in 2021.
