Pape Lukk joined the Thomas College Men's Lacrosse coaching staff as the Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator in July of 2024.

Lukk comes to Thomas after serving as the Defensive Coordinator at Colby College over the past two years. Prior to Colby, he served as the Volunteer Assistant Coach at the University of Delaware. Lukk worked directly with goaltenders, offensive personnel, scout man up unit, as well as coordinating the substitution box during competition. While at Delaware, the Blue Hens won both the Colonial Athletic Association’s regular and tournament championship titles, in addition to a historic victory over the #2 seeded Georgetown Hoyas in the first round of the 2022 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse tournament.

Lukk spent the fall of 2021 at Haverford College, serving as the program's volunteer assistant coach. Prior to this experience he spent the 2020-2021 academic year serving as the Defensive Coordinator at Tusculum University. While at Tusculum, he helped guide the Pioneers to the SAC tournament semifinals, while coaching an all-conference tournament performer, as well as mentoring the programs single season record holder for caused turnovers.

Lukk previously served as an Assistant Coach at Haverford College during the 2019-2020 academic year. He worked closely with the defensive unit and goaltenders in addition to coordinating the substitution box during competition. In addition to his coaching duties, Lukk served as the Director of Rising Sons Lacrosse club in Aston, Pa.

From 2017 to 2019 Lukk was a Graduate Assistant at Concordia University of Chicago while also earning his master’s degree in Educational Studies. He mentored the program's all time leader in saves in addition to the schools first-ever all conference performer.

A 2015 graduate of Frostburg State University, Lukk graduated with his bachelor's degree in psychology. During his playing career, the Bobcats earned three Capital Athletic Conference tournament game appearances, culminating in a title game appearance in 2015. Frostburg State ranked as high as No. 15 in the USILA Division III national poll throughout his playing career. Lukk is currently pursuing his MBA at Thomas College.

Lukk and his wife Alyssa reside in Waterville.
