Dan Campbell was named Head Cross Country Coach and Assistant Track & Field Coach in November of 2020.

Campbell brings over 35 years of coaching and recruiting experience at the high school and collegiate level. He most recently served as the Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at UMaine-Farmington from 2016 to 2018. Prior to his time at UMF, Campbell spent over 30 years at Edward Little High School where he coached cross country, track & field and Nordic skiing. With the Eddies, Campbell guided teams to 14 state championships and was named State of Maine, Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference and Southern Maine Athletic Association Coach of the Year multiple times. Additionally, Campbell has worked with athletes that have reached Olympic trials.

Campbell graduated from UMF in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/Rehabilitation Services Program.
