Men's Cross Country Finishes Sixth at NCAA Regional Preview

South Portland, ME - Men's Cross Country traveled to compete in the 2026 NCAA Regional Preview meet, hosted by Bates College, on Saturday, September 5th, 2026. The team placed 6th out of 11 teams with a score of 190. The course was a 4,340 meter run, or a 4.34k.

How it Happened:
  • Charley Flees was the first finisher for the Terriers, placing 43rd out of 148 runners with a time of 14:34.6.
  • Gage Bruns finished just a second after, in 45th place with a time of 14:35.9.
  • In 48th place Tristan Hughes finished with a time of 14:39.1.
  • Jeffrey Flees finished shortly after, in 51st place with a time of 14:41.6
  • To round out the top five finishers for the Terriers, Michael Johnson finished in 61st place with a time of 14:53.

What's Next:
  • Men's Cross Country will be back in action when they travel to the University of Maine at Farmington to participate in the NAC Preview Meet.
