Waterville, ME - The Thomas College Club NECBA Baseball team opened up it's conference play in dominant fashion on Sunday afternoon, defeating Colby College Club Baseball 13-1 in a five-inning contest.
Caden Siraco had a team high four RBI, while strong pitching from
Graeden King-Rosado and
Kyle Lepage helped the team outscore the Mules by 12 runs.
How it Happened:
- Thomas struck early with two runs in the first inning before Siraco delivered a two-run single in the second to extend the Terrier lead.
- The Terriers continued to add insurance in the third as King drove in a run on a fielder's choice and Siraco lifted a sacrifice fly to make it 7-1.
- On the mound, King kept Colby in check, allowing just one hit and one run across three innings while earning the victory.
- Thomas broke the game open in the fifth inning, scoring six runs on four hits to put the contest out of reach.
- Siraco added another RBI single during the rally, while Anthoney Vaccaro highlighted the inning with a two-run double and Carl Gregoire chipped in an RBI single.
