Waterville, ME - Women's Soccer put up a good performance in the team's home matchup against North Atlantic Conference leaders Lesley University on Wednesday, October 28th, 2026. The final score was 0-1 in a hard-fought contest.

How it Happened:

• The Lynx had several attacking opportunities to open the game, but strong defending and several great saves from Emily Rock kept the Terriers tied.
• In the 18th minute a shot from Riley Smith fizzed just wide of the goal in what could've been the game's first goal.
• Despite having a similar amount of possession, the Lynx continued to attack the Terrier goal, forcing even more saves from Rock.
• The best chance for the Terriers came in the 43rd minute, when a dangerous long ball from Amber Fortin required a save from the Lynx goalkeeper.
• Both teams went into halftime tied 0-0, meaning it was anyone's game to take in the second half.
• In the 51st minute the Lynx finally found the breakthrough, scoring to take a 1-0 lead.
• Rock was called into action shortly after, making four more saves in the next six minutes.
• The Terrier defense and Rock continued to shine, but the Terriers would be unable to generate any clear cut chances for the remainder of the half, ending the game in a 0-1 loss.
