Waterville, ME – Women's Soccer took on the Plymouth State University Panthers at home on Saturday, August 30
th, 2025. The final score was 0-3.
How it Happened:
- The Panthers got on the scoreboard early, finding the net in the 10th minute to make it 1-0.
- A few minutes later Emily Rock was forced to make two saves to prevent the Panthers from scoring again.
- The Terriers went into the halftime break still in the game, only being down a goal.
- The next clear chance for the Terriers came in the 69th minute, when a fast break led to a Yaribel Pena shot on goal that was saved by the Panther goalkeeper.
- The Panthers doubled their lead in the 71st minute from a corner kick, then scored again with two minutes to play.
- A list minute shot from Laurel Fribley went just wide of the goal, leading to an eventual 0-3 loss for the Terriers.
