10/14/2025 6:31:00 PM

Augusta, ME - NECBA Club Baseball traveled to take on the University of Maine at Augusta in a 7-inning contest on Tuesday, October 14th, but would ultimately fall short to the Moose by a final score of 3-6.

How it Happened:
  • UMA would take control of the momentum early on, scoring six combined runs in the bottom of the 1st and 2nd inning to put the Terriers down 0-6.
  • The Terriers would get the bats going shortly after, scoring one run in three consecutive innings to make it a 3-6 game.
  • The Terriers would continue attempting to claw their way back into the game in the final innings of the contest, but UMA would ultimately hold on to hand the Terriers a 3-6 road loss.
  • Bryce Dillon, Vincent Pavonetti, Nick Griffel, and Xavier Estes all made appearances on the mound for the Terriers, combining to allow just five hits while recording four strikeouts against UMA.
  • Despite the Terriers loss, Trey Morby paced the Terriers' offense, going a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate with 1 run scored.
