Waterville, ME – Men's and Women's Cross Country competed in the 2024 Thomas College Invitational, held on the Sukeforth Family Trail System. Competing teams included Maine Maritime Academy, University of Maine Presque Isle, Husson University, and Thomas College. The Men's team placed second with 38 total points, and the Women's team placed third and did not finish on Saturday, September 28^th, 2024.
 
Men's Cross Country (6K):

• Patrick McKenney placed third, leading the Terriers with a time of 21:45.9.
• Gage Bruns placed sixth and finished with a time of 22:48.9.
• Michael Johnson placed eighth, finishing with a time of 23:38.5.
• The Men's team placed in second with 38 total points.

 
Women's Cross Country (4K):

• Savaughn Kungxat-Facenda placed second, leading the Terriers with a time of 17:02.8.
• Maria Protheroe followed right behind, placing third with a time of 17:23.1. 
• Amanda Winslow took fifth for the Terriers and had a time of 18:47.2.
• The Women's team placed third and did not finish.

• Cross Country will be back in action as they travel to Husson University for the Husson Invitational on Thursday, October 10^th, 2024.
