Men's Lacrosse Overwhelmed by Wildcats

Utica, New York - Men's Lacrosse could not keep pace with the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Wildcats, taking a 23-3 loss in a North Atlantic Conference Matchup on Saturday, April 20th.

Thomas: Overall (1-7), NAC (1-4)
SUNY Poly: Overall (8-4) NAC (4-1)

How it Happened: 
  • Midway through the first quarter Timothy Worster would find the back of the net off a Jack Morrill assist to get the Terriers on the board
  • With just under two minutes to play in the first quarter, Hunter Simpson would score off a Brodi Freeman assist to make it an 8-2 game
  • The Terriers would end the first half down 15-2
  • Simpson would score his second goal of the day early in the third but the Wildcats would take control of the remainder of the game to hand Thomas a 23-3 loss 
  • The Terriers would draw six penalties against the Wildcats, but would not be able to capitalize on any of them
Inside the Stats: What's Next: The Terriers will stay in New York for the weekend and travel to Morrisville, New York to take on the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs in a North Atlantic Conference matchup on Sunday, April 21st. Game time is scheduled for 1:00PM.
