Delhi, New York – Thomas College Men's and Women's Cross Country traveled to SUNY Delhi to compete in the 2024 North Atlantic Conference Championship on November 2
nd. The women's team finished with a score of 116, average pace of 7:21, and placed 5
th in the conference 6k. SUNY Delhi women's team placed first with an average pace time of 6:21. The men's team placed 4
th in the 8k with 102 points and an average pace of 6:00 minutes. The University of Maine Farmington became back-to-back Champions with a pace time of 5:25.
Women's Cross Country:
Maria Protheroe was the first Terrier to pass the finish line with a time of 24:34, which is an average place of 6:35, she placed 12
th.
Savaughn Kungxat-Facenda finished just behind Protheroe in 16
th place. She completed the race in 25:23 with a pace of 6:48
Rebekah Ireland and Amanda Winslow were neck and neck completing the race together. Ireland ended with a time of 27:57 and Winslow at 28:02.
Emma Landry wrapped up the five competing with a final time of 31:14.
Men's Cross Country:
Sophomore
Patrick McKenney crossed the finish line first for the Terriers. He ended with a time of 27:54 and average pace of 5:36, he placed 14
th.
Gage Bruns and
Michael Johnson were the next two to come in. Bruns ended with a time of 29:13, followed by Johnson at 29:41.
Carlton Dailey shadowed the pair coming in just over a minute later at 30:50 with a pace of 6:12.
Matt Shea was the fifth Terrier to cross the finish line with a 6:20 pace time and 31:31 total race time.
James Mooney and
Evan Thomas wrapped the seven Terriers running. Mooney ended with a time of 34:03 and Thomas at 42:46.
