Box Score Bangor, ME – Women's Soccer was unable to gain any sort of momentum against Husson University. The final score was 0-4 on Tuesday, September 12^th, 2023.

How it Happened:  

• The Eagles jumped out to an early lead, scoring two goals in the span of 13 minutes.
• A minute after the second goal was scored, Terriers' goalkeeper Emilee Ireland was forced to make two important saves to keep the score line within reach.
• In the 29^th minute, Emma Burr sent a shot to the bottom right corner, but it was saved by Eagles goalkeeper Madison Weigler. 
• The Eagles scored their third goal under a minute before halftime, to put the game out of reach for the Terriers.
• One minute after halftime, the Eagles struck again, to make the score 0-4. 
• After the fourth goal, the Eagles generated 18 more shots, which were either saved by Emily Rock, or missed.
• The game ended 0-4, with the Terriers only generating six shots compared to the Eagles 34. 

 
The Goalkeepers:  
Two Terriers goalkeepers saw time in net. Ireland started the game, making four saves in 45 minutes played. Rock played the second half, making five saves. 
Two goalkeepers also saw time in net for the Eagles. Weigler played the first 69 minutes, making one save. Hannah Kenney played the remaining 21 minutes, making two saves. 
 
What's Next:
The Terriers will look to bounce back on the road against Vermont State University Johnson, on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 PM.
