Men's and Women's Cross Country started off their season with a meet down at Suffolk University. This meet included many teams in New England ranging in all divisions and fellow NAC opponent Husson University.
Men's Cross Country raced a 5k finishing eleventh out of thirteen talling 354 points. Junior Matt Shea passed the finish line first for the Terriers running an 18:13.9. He was followed by First Year
Patrick McKenney finishing with an 18:47.
Aidan Mills was the next to cross the line for the Terriers ending the race with a 19:47.3 time. Junior
Owen Hargrove shortly followed Mills running a 20:18.8. First Year
Zachary White rounded out the Terriers with a time of 22:19.8.
Women's Cross Country partook in a 3k finishing thirteenth out of fifteen participating teams. Sophomore
Savaughn Kungxat-Facenda was the first Terrier to pass the finish line with a 14:16.3 time. Senior Amanda Winslow shortly followed crossing with a time of 14:53.9.
Rebekah Ireland was the next to come in after Winslow, she ended with a 15:22.4. Sophomore
Emma Landry close behind Ireland clocked in a 15:43 time.
Kaitlynn Bean (18.46.2),
Elizabeth Brewer (18.47.7), and
Jenna Hanoian (19:41) were the final Terriers to finish the race.
Cross Country's next meet with take place at home on Saturday, September 9
th.
