How it Happened:
- Within the first three minutes, Terrier goalkeeper Emily Rock was forced to make two saves to deny both Beaver chances.
- In the 22nd minute, Serenia Ahumada took a shot from distance that was saved by Beaver goalkeeper Paige Gonya.
- Gonya would need to make another save in the 32nd minute, with a shot coming in from Laurel Fribley.
- Thanks to some strong defending, the Terrier defense didn't allow any goals in the first half.
- The Beavers found the breakthrough goal in the 59th minute, with a looping shot finding the back of the Terrier net.
- Mya Edgecomb had an opportunity to tie the game up in the 71st minute, but had the shot saved once again by Gonya.
- The Beavers took a 2-0 lead in the 77th minute, with a Beaver attacker heading the ball into the Terrier net from five yards out.
- With only two minutes left to play, Emily Wallingford sent in a lofted ball off of a free kick, which needed to be saved by Gonya.
- The game ended in a 0-2 loss for the Terriers, being outshot 9-19.
The Goalkeepers:
Rock played the entire 90 minutes in net, making four saves.
Beaver goalkeeper Gonya also played all 90 minutes, making five saves.
