How it Happened:
- The first half was a back-and-forth contest, with the Terriers outshooting the Lions eight to five in the first 45 minutes.
- The breakthrough came in the 46th minute, with LaRochelle finding Davis-Macias who touched the ball in around the goalkeeper
- A long pass from Wallingford found the feet of Gutierrez in the 65th minute, and she was able to find the back of the net to give the Terriers a two-goal lead
- Davis-Macias and Gutierrez both finished the game with one goal, while McIntyre finished with a stellar performance from the defensive line
Goalkeepers:
Lauren Bartlett played the entire 90 minutes for the Terriers
, making seven saves to earn the clean sheet.
Lions' goalkeeper Jasmine Arzu also played a full 90 minutes, finishing with six saves.
