Box Score Waterville, ME – A steady midfield saw the Terriers win 2-0 in what was also their home opener against NVU-Lyndon.

How it Happened:
- The Terriers jumped out to score the games only two goals in the first 17 minutes of the match, thanks to Aminah Davis-Macias and Emily Gutierrez
- Thomas outshot NVU-Lyndon 12-8 throughout the 90 minutes, and finished with 8 more corner kicks than NVU-Lyndon
- The second half was a defensive battle, with nobody being able to find the back of the net
- Davis-Macias and Gutierrez both finished the game with one goal, and Mary LaRochelle finished with an assist.
Goalkeepers:
Izzy Lang got the start in net for the terriers, making five saves in 90 minutes to keep the clean sheet.
Hornets goalkeeper Karly Cordwell also played a full 90 minutes, finishing with 11 saves.
