WATERVILLE, Maine - The Thomas Women's Soccer team came up short against Lesley University by a score of 1-0.  

The Terriers had a strong performance on defense the entire match and goalkeepers Isabelle Lang (Lincolnville, Maine), Madison Rock (Bridgton, Maine), and Lauren Bartlett (Wells, Maine) held the Lynx to one goal.

Thomas defense was an impenetrable wall in the first half, keeping Lesley scoreless in the first half. In the early second half Lynx player Courtney McClusky slipped through the Terrier's defense to score Lesley's first and only goal at 45:50 in the second period.

Next up the Terriers will travel to Northern Vermont University - Lyndon on Saturday, September 11 at 1:00 PM.
