WATERVILLE, Maine - Husson Women's Soccer (3-2-1) defeated Thomas (1-4) 3-nil on a beautiful Saturday at Smith Field in a North Atlantic Conference matchup.
The Eagles had three different players score for them in their win against the Terriers. Camryn Rolfe opened up the scoring in the 25th minute, teammate Shannon Dowd followed Rolfe's goal just three minutes later. Husson's third goal and final didn't come until late in the second half when Natalie Aviolla was able to split two defenders
Husson got on the board in the 25th minute when Camryn Rolfe scored and teammate Shannon Dowd found the back of the net just three minutes later to give Husson a 2-0 lead going into half time. Natalie Aviolla tallied the Eagles third and final goal in the 69th minute after splitting two defenders.
Thomas used two different goalkeepers on Saturday,
Madison Rock (Bridgton, Maine) and
Lauren Bartlett (Wells, Maine) both of whom played tremendously despite the loss. Rock had 10 saves in the first half while allowing two goals while Bartlett made 7 saves in the second half and surrendered one goal.

The Terriers will play Gordon College at home at 4 pm on Tuesday and then will hit the road next Saturday to play Northern Vermont University - Johnson.
