WATERVILLE, Maine - Women's Soccer suffered another heartbreaking 1-nil loss, this time at the hands of University of Maine - Presque Isle. It was the fourth 1-nil loss of the season for Thomas. 

The Terriers and Owls were very evenly matched for most of the game, both having chances to get on the board. Thomas had seven corners and five shots on goal while UMaine - Presque Isle had three corners and seven shots on goal. 

It wasn't until the 72nd minute that Alexis Ireland found the back of the net for the Owls on an assist from Malik Zhoreen, to give them the win. 

Thomas will play their final home game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Colby, after that they will travel to University of Maine - Farmington for their last game of the season on October 23rd.
