WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College men's golf team defeated UMaine-Presque Isle 331-357 on Sunday at Waterville Country Club. Evan Parsons (Woolwich, Maine) battled through difficult course conditions to win his second medalist honor in as many matches, shooting a +9 79.
Dylan Cunningham (Oakland, Maine) had the lowest front nine score of the day of 39 and went on to take a second-place finish with a +10 80. Zachary Gagne (Augusta, Maine) shot a +15 85 to come in third, while Campbell Macomber (New Gloucester, Maine) rounded out the scoring four for Thomas with +17 87 to tie for fourth place.
Kent Johnson (Carmel, Maine) and Adam Dubail (Gray, Maine) tied for sixth with scores of +18 88, while Zach Mackinnon (Kennebunk, Maine) followed in 11th. Zackary Pelletier (Poland, Maine) and Ethan Scripture (Bangor, Maine) came in 13th and 14th, respectively, while Benjamin Gosselin (Lewiston, Maine) came in 16th. Nicholas Brewer (Houlton, Maine) and Dean Simpson (Oakland, Maine) rounded out the lineup for Thomas, finishing 18th and 19th.
