JOHNSON, VT – Thomas College suffered a 4-0 loss to Johnson State College in women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon in Vermont. The Badgers advance to 5-2 on the season and 1-0 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play while the Terriers slide to 3-5 overall and 0-1 in the NAC. 

Johnson used goals from Shannon Larkin, Casey Hutchinson, Maddison Prescott and Kylie Dither to shutout the visiting Terriers. Dither also tallied three assists on the afternoon. 

Paige Leary was saddled with the loss despite her strong effort in goal. Shannon Grier picked up her first win and shutout of the season for the Badgers, making eight saves.

Thomas returns to Vermont next weekend to play at Castleton State and Green Mountain. Johnson State is back in action on Saturday against Maine Maritime Academy.
