Men's Cross Country Closes Out Season in New England Regionals

WILLIAMSTOWN, MA - The Thomas men's cross country team completed their season competing in the 2014 NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships on Saturday.

The Terriers finished in 48th place out of the 54 schools that participated in the championship meet. Sophomore Nick Kopf was the best finisher for Thomas, finishing 162st out of 373 total runners with a time of 28:20.8 in the 8k race.

Aron MacLean was the next finisher, coming in 257th with a time of 29:55.9 and he was followed by Sam Cook (31:11.5, 313rd), Evan Boudreau (32:56.1, 335th), Jasen Dickey (33:35.0, 341st), Cole Barney (34:07.9, 346th) and Forrest Labbe (34:19.3, 347th). The Terriers totaled 1408 points.

Colby College won the championship with 63 points and had five runners in the top 25, led by David Chelimo with a time of 25:33.0, good for sixth place overall.
