BIDDEFORD, ME- The Thomas College men's cross country team placed seventh overall at the University of New England Invitational at Rotary Park Saturday afternoon. William Janakis (South Berwick, Maine) paced the Terriers placing 26th with a 31:52 time.
Evan Boudreau was clsoe behind in 33rd place with a finishing time of 32:30. David Tirabassi (Lewiston, Maine) followed with a 59th finish (35:36) and Joseph Fishman (Preque Isle, Maine) got 79th finishing with at the 38:57 mark. Cameron Brousseau (Rockport, Maine) placed 69th with a finish time of 40:54.
Josh Grant from Lyndon State College won the meet with a 28:38 finish time. He was followed by teammates Kyle Powers (28:46) and Tyler Scheibenpflug (28:48) who rounded out the top three.
Lyndon State College won team honors with a score of 27, with four runners in the top ten.
The Terriers will be back in action next Saturday at U-Maine Farmington at noon time.
