Box Score WATERVILLE, ME- Thomas (2-7, 0-3 NAC) fell to New England College (4-6-1, 1-2 NAC) in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women's soccer matchup Saturday evening. Kate Thibodeau (Woolwich, Maine) registered 11 saves in the loss for the Terriers.
Thomas held the Pilgrims scoreless for the majority of the first half, despite being outshot 11-0. NEC was able to get on the board however in the 32nd minute as Kate Hatch chipped one over the hands of Thibodeau for the eventual game winner.
Amber Rose picked up the Pilgrims second tally at the 49:07 mark from a cross by Brooke LePage. LePage would be credited with the assist on the third goal as well with a cross to Caroline Mols to cushion the lead to three goals.
Elizabeth Goodall (Oakfield, Maine) led the Terriers offense with two shots on goal in the defeat.
Thomas will return to the pitch tomorrow as they play host to Colby-Sawyer at 2:30pm. The Chargers defeated the Terriers 5-0 last fall.
