POULTNEY, VT. - Jenn Day's (Gardiner, Maine) two goals off of direct kicks helped spur Thomas College past Green Mountain College 2-0 in North Atlantic Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Eagle Game Field.

Day's first marker came in the 20th minute as she lofted in a free kick over the outstretched hand of Eagle keeper Emma Lord. The remainder of the frame was a scoreless affair as the visitors headed into half up by one. The Terriers outshot the Eagles nine to three in the opening half.

The Eagles (0-10 overall, 0-4 NAC) kept pressing and were rewarded with a chance close in. Emma Christensen attempted to put home a loose ball off of a Casey McGill direct kick, but was blocked by a defender before the ball crossed the goal line.
