STANDISH, ME- The Thomas men's cross country team placed 8th in the Runnin Monks Invitational hosted by Saint Joseph's College Saturday afternoon. Will Janakis (South Berwick, Maine) paced the Terriers with a 12th place finish (31:26).
Evan Boudreau (Lamoine, Maine) was second on the team with a 27th finish at the 32:52 mark and Connor Pinkham (Poland, Maine) placed 52nd at 35:34. Sam Cook (Plymouth, Mass.) finished at 57th with a 36:52 finish time, and Cameron Brousseau (Rockport, Mass.) rounded out the Terriers top five with a 60th place finish (37:08).
Emerson took team medalist honors with a 71 score, while Saint Joseph's runner Joe DiSalvo took individual first place with a 29:24 finish time.
The Terriers will be back in action next Saturday for the Maine State Championships hosted by University of Southern Maine at noontime.
