GORHAM, ME- The Thomas men's cross country team placed ninth in the Maine State Collegiate Championships hosted by University of Southern Maine. William Janakis (South Berwick, Maine) paced the Terriers with a 78^th place finish at 29:05.

Evan Boudreau (Lamonie, Maine) finished at 29:19, good for 81^st place, and Sam Cook (Plymouth, Mass.) placed 130^th (32:43). Connor Pinkham (Poland, Maine) was 133^rd at 33:00, while Joseph Fishman (Presque Isle, Maine) got 138^th at 33:20 to round out the top five for Thomas.

Bates took home team honors with a score of 29, with six runners in the top ten.

The Terriers will be back on the trails next Saturday, Oct. 20 at Maine Maritime Academy for a 10:00 am start time.
