Box Score Johnson, Vt. – The Thomas College women's soccer team fell in a North Atlantic Conference match up with the Badger on Johnson State 2-0 this afternoon. With the loss the Terriers fall to 1-7 (1-2, NAC), while the Badgers improve to 6-1 (2-0, NAC) on the year.
The Badgers first score was recorded by Ally Bataille who floated a shot just off and over the hands of Terriers goal keeper Kate Thibodeau in the 25th minute.
Johnson received their second score when Jen Ferrari stole with ball at the top of the penalty box and blasted a left-footed shot just under the crossbar just two minutes into the second half making it 2-0 Badgers.
Johnson goal keeper Amber McCullock made five saves to earn the shutout while Thomas' goal keeper, Thibodeau stopped 12 shots.
The Terriers are off till October 1st when they will travel to New England College for a NAC match up.
