Box Score Henniker, N.H. – The Thomas College women's soccer team were shutout 3-0 by the Pilgrims of New England College in a North Atlantic Conference match-up Saturday afternoon. Thomas' goal keeper Kate Thibodeau stood strong in the goal for the Terriers, making 10 saves.
With the loss the Terriers fall to 1-9 (1-3 NAC), while with the win the Pilgrims improve to 5-4-1 (1-2 NAC) and pick up their first ever NAC win.
NEC got on the board in the 13th minute when Kristen Walker netted her first of two goals. The two teams would battle through the remainder of the opening half scoreless as the Pilgrims would hold a 7-4 advantage in shots.
At half time NEC led 1-0.
Walker scored her second goal in the 58th minute putting the Pilgrims up 2-0. The Pilgrims wrapped up the scoring for the day in the 77th minute with a goal from Veronica Hytner.
The Terriers will wrap up a two goal road trip with a 3:30 match up with Colby-Sawyer.
