Box Score Castine, ME - - The Thomas College Women's Soccer Team won in dramatic fashion on Friday against The Maine Maritime Academy. The Terriers needed double overtime to finish off MMA one nil. The win improved the Terriers to 5-7 (1-2 NAC) while MMA fell to 3-7-1 (1-3 NAC).
The game remained scoreless until the 107th minute when Sophomore Jasmine Ryan (Berwick, ME) scored the game winner on a loose ball inside the box.
First year player Katie Thibodeau (Woolwich, ME) collected the win for the Terriers making four saves on nine shots.
The Terriers are back in action on Saturday October 16th when they face conference foe Lyndon State for a 1pm match up at Alumni Field located on the Thomas College campus.
