Box Score Waterville, Maine -- The Women's Soccer Team scored six goals in their third straight win and second shut out in a row against the University of Maine Augusta today. Sophomore Arian Kumlangngam (Winslow, ME) put the ball in the back of the net twice today in the victory.
Three other Terriers were able to find the back of the net today as well. First year player Jillian Lambert (Dayton, ME) started the Terriers off with the first goal of the game in 10th minute off of an Elizabeth Goodall (Oakfield, ME) assist.
Kumlangngam scored her first goal of the game in the 11th minute and Evangeline Goodall (Oakfield, ME) followed with a goal of her own in the 21st minute. Thomas led the Moose 3-0 after the first half.
The second half began when Kumlangngam scored her second goal 9 minutes into the period. Kim Migliara (Mastic, NY) had the assist. Elizabeth Goodall would score a break away goal when Vicky Devonshire (Brockton, MA) passed the ball from mid field to give Thomas a 5-0 lead.
Kim Pratt (Oakfield, ME) scored her first collegiate goal at the 80th minute from a pass in the box by Allyssa Vitalone (Bingham, ME).
The Terriers (4-7-0, 0-2-0 NAC) will next travel to Maine Maritime Academy in a conference match this Friday October 8, 2010 at 5:30pm for their final road game of the 2010 season.
