BANGOR, Maine – The Thomas College women's soccer team fell to Husson 2-1 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) match on Wednesday evening.
Katherine Hoving (Bristol, Maine) put the Terriers on the board first, scoring her eleventh goal of the season in the final minute of the first half to make it 1-0.
The Eagles answered early in the second, with Alexa Thayer scoring in the 55th minute. Husson got the game winner in the 89th minute on a Bri Saulter penalty kick that gave the Eagles a 2-1 win.
Jenna Dietenhofer-Diamond made seven saves in goal in the win for Husson. Isabelle Land (Lincolnville, Maine) took the loss for Thomas, making four stops.
Thomas will conclude their regular season on Tuesday, October 29 when they host Maine Maritime in a NAC contest at 7:30 PM on Smith Field.
