WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its end of year awards for women's lacrosse and five Terriers have been honored. Nikki Bradstreet (Topsham, Maine) was named to the All-Conference First Team, Tanasia Eldon (Port St. Lucie, Fla.), Meredith Wheeler (Westbrook, Maine) and Darrian Leonardi (Thomaston, Maine) were named to the All-Conference Second Team and Natalie Corrigan (Oakland, Maine) was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
Bradstreet led the Terriers with 46 points (24 goals, 22 assists) in 11 games played. She also tallied team-highs in groundballs (48) and caused turnovers (25) while ranking second on the team in draw controls (35).
Eldon scored five goals and notched seven assists for 12 points, while leading the Terriers with 41 draw controls. She also picked up 16 groundballs and caused 15 turnovers.
Wheeler provided on both ends for Thomas scoring 10 goals with an assist while helping hold down the defensive end with 19 groundballs and 11 caused turnovers while starting all 12 games.
Leonardi was the Terriers defensive anchor, causing 14 turnovers and picking up 18 groundballs in eight games.
Corrigan is being recognized as a member of the Sportsmanship Team, which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the lacrosse culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the playing rules and etiquette.
