WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its end of season awards for men's and women's cross country and three Thomas student-athletes have been recognized. Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, N.H.) was named to the All-Conference First Team, Jarrod Hooper (Lyman, Maine) was named to the All-Conference Second Team and Sportsmanship Team and Audrey Kimball (St. Albans, Maine) was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
Ottman finished fourth at the 2019 NAC Championship, running a time of 30:03.7. Hooper followed in 12th place, running at a 31:34.3 place. Those two top finishes helped propel the Terriers to their best finish in program history, coming in third.
Hooper and Kimball are being recognized as a member of the Sportsmanship Team, which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees positively affect the cross country culture and race environment by clearly demonstrating sportsmanship and integrity beyond the sport playing rules and etiquette.
