BEVERLY, Mass. – The Thomas College men's soccer team fell to Endicott College 5-1 on Saturday evening.
Endicott struck early with a goal by Evan Couchot in the eighth minute. The Gulls doubled their lead at the 16:00 mark with a Connor Ross goal. The Terriers answered back less than three minutes later with Eric LaBrie's (Yarmouth, Maine) first career goal. Endicott got that goal back right away with a goal by Couchot that made it 3-1. Couchot scored his third in the 37th minute to make it 4-1 at the half.
Couchot scored for the fourth time in the 65th minute to give Endicott the 5-1 win.
Zach Regulbuto made two saves to get the win for Endicott. John Villanueva (Gray, Maine) made three saves, taking the loss for the Terriers. Nick Chandler (Wells, Maine) took over for the final 13:32, making two saves.
Thomas will travel across town to Colby College on Wednesday, September 4 for a 4:00 PM game.
