WATERVILLE, Maine – The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) has announced its end of season awards for men's lacrosse, and two Thomas College student-athletes have been recognized. Jarrod Leonardi (Thomaston, Maine) was named to the All-Conference Second Team, while Harry Heald (Georgetown, Maine) was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
Leonardi started all ten games for the Terriers as a defenseman, causing 19 turnovers and scooping up 21 groundballs.
Heald is being recognized as a member of the Sportsmanship Team, which is reserved for those who have distinguished themselves through demonstrated acts of sportsmanship and ethical behavior. The honorees are individuals who have positively affected the lacrosse culture and environment and whose behavior clearly demonstrates sportsmanship and integrity that go beyond the playing rules and etiquette.
