FARMINGTON, Maine – The Thomas College men's basketball was taken down by UMaine-Farmington 93-66 in a North Atlantic Conference battle Wednesday night.
The Terriers' leading scorer was Jordan Goodson (Orlando, Fla.) who recorded 17 points and six rebounds. Trevor Reed (Rockland, Maine) added nine points, including three 3-pointers, and two rebounds, while Jacob Godfrey (Machias, Maine) contributed nine points and six rebounds.
The Terriers jumped out to a 11-10 lead over the Beavers six minutes into the contest, but Farmington bounced back and outscored Thomas 34-10 during the final 14 minutes of the first half to lead 44-21 after the first 20 minutes of play.
Coming out of the break Thomas was able to cut the lead to 15, the lowest for the half, after scoring 13 points in the first five minutes of the half. The Beavers pushed ahead and ran away with the 93-66 win.
Thomas will head into the NAC Tournament as the No. 4 seed and will host No. 5 UMaine-Presque Isle on Saturday, February 22.
