CANTON, N.Y. – The Thomas College fell to SUNY Canton in overtime, 78-66, in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Saturday afternoon.
Jordan Goodson had a stellar game, scoring a career-high 26 points, shooting 4-7 (57.1%) from three-point range. He picked up a double-double with ten rebounds, while also recording thee assists and three steals.
The Roos made the most of their free throw opportunities, shooting 15-16 (93.8%) from the line. They did much of their damage around the rim, scoring 40 points in the paint to Thomas' 16.
The game was tightly contested through regulation, with 13 lead changes and four ties leading to the score being tied 64-64 after 40 minutes. SUNY Canton took an early lead in the overtime period and hit free throws down the stretch to take the 78-66 win.
Thomas will close out the fall semester on Sunday, December 15 when they host Fisher at 2:00 PM.
