WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College golf team competed in the UMF Invitational at Waterville Country Club on Sunday, finishing fourth of nine teams. The Terriers compiled a team score of 320, 14 strokes behind tournament winner USM.
Kent Johnson (Carmel, Maine) and Caleb Roy (Lyman, Maine) tied for the team low, shooting a 78 to come in tied for seventh overall. Evan Parsons (Woolwich, Maine) came in next with an 81, while Zachary Gagne (Augusta, Maine) rounded out the scorers for Thomas with an 83. Aaron Pion (Waterville, Maine) also competed, shooting an 87.
Thomas will compete in a tri-match with UMaine-Presque Isle and UMaine-Augusta on Wednesday, October 2 at Waterville Country Club.
