MANSFIELD, Mass. – The New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) has announced its end of season awards for field hockey and four Terriers have been recognized. Britney Gregoire (Kennebunk, Maine), Kelci Faulkingham (Belfast, Maine) and Allie Gregoire (Kennebunk, Maine) were all named to the All-Conference First Team, while Leah Kruse (Norridgewock, Maine) was named to the Sportsmanship Team.
Britney Gregoire scored seven goals and had one assist for 15 points in seven conference games and was also named Offensive Player of the Week one time during the season.
Faulkingham scored three goals and had three assists for nine points in conference play while being the top option on the Terriers penalty corners. She was also named Offensive Player of the Week once this year.
Allie Gregoire led the Thomas backline that allowed the second fewest goals per game in the conference. She was the primary inserter for penalty corners and led the conference with 11 assists on the season. She was named Defensive Player of the Week one time during the year.
Kruse played in 12 games in goal, starting 10. She held a .67 goals against average and .813 save percentage in five conference games played.
