HKY: Terriers Open Year with Loss at Dartmouth

WEST LEBANON, N.H. – The Thomas College ice hockey team opened their season with a 7-0 loss at Dartmouth on Friday night.

The Terriers went down early, giving up two goals in the second half of the first period to make it 2-0 after one. The Big Green notched one early in the second to make it 3-0, then scored twice more in the period to go up 5-0 at the second intermission. Dartmouth capped the game with to more goals in the third to make it a 7-0 final.

Tom Green (Biddeford, Maine) started in net and took the loss for Thomas. Miloslav Fuksa (Czech Republic) made his collegiate debut, taking over in net midway through the second period.

Thomas will host the second half of their season opening home-and-home with Dartmouth on Friday, November 1 at 8:30 PM at the Camden National Bank Ice Vault.
