WATERVILLE, Maine – The Thomas College ice hockey team enters the Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association (NECHA) Playoffs as the North Division's No. 1 seed and will take on the No. 3 seed from the South Division, the University of Connecticut, on Saturday, February 16 at 11:10 AM at Conway Arena in Nashua, N.H.)
- The Terriers (14-3-0-0 overall) earned the top seed in the North with 12 points in the regular season standings (6-1-0-0 record).
- Thomas won the teams first meeting this season with a 6-3 victory at UConn.
- The Huskies (8-6-0-1 overall) earned 15 regular season points with a 7-2-0-0 record to take the third seed in the playoffs. UConn defeated No. 2 Coast Guard Academy 4-2 on February 13 to advance to the semifinal.
Saturday's winner will advance to the NECHA Colonial Conference Championship on Sunday, February 17 where they'll take on the winner of South No. 1 Springfield and North No. 2 Colby-Sawyer at 12:10 PM at Conway Arena.
