BELFAST, Maine – Jarrod Ottman (Merrimack, N.H.) became the first runner in program history to win an individual North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship with a 27:26.8 finish in the 8K NAC Championship race on Sunday. As a team, the Thomas men finished 5th out of eight teams, while the women finished in 7th out of 7.
Ottman was followed by Jarrod Hooper (Lyman, Maine) and Alister Piccini (Winslow, Maine) who finished 13th and 14th, respectively. Dillon Sullivan (New Gloucester, Maine) placed 29th, while Tyler Tyler DeViller (Pittsfield, Maine) rounded out the top five in 48th.
Olivia Wallace (Jonesboro, Maine) was the top finisher on the women's side, finishing in 31st with a time of 26:05.6 in the 5k. She was followed by Natalie Corrigan (Oakland, Maine) in 40th, then Cassidy Pinkham (Poland, Maine) in 51st. Rebecca Kennett (Freeport, Maine) and Brooklyn LeClair (Waterville, Maine) finished out the five for Thomas, crossing over in 56th and 57th, respectively.
