NEAC Releases 2016 Women’s Tennis Coaches’ Poll

WATERVILLE, ME – The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) East Division has released the 2016 women's tennis preseason coaches' poll and the Terriers have been ranked sixth.

The top spot belongs to the four-time defending champions with 64 points, Colby-Sawyer, while Castleton and Husson are tied for second at 49.  Thomas was awarded 26 points for the sixth spot ahead of Lyndon State and Green Mountain.

The Terriers enter the 2016 season under the guidance of new head coach Eddie Mathews.  Lindsey Allen (Jay, ME / Spruce Mountain) returns for her senior season after finishing 2015 on the NEAC All-Conference First Team Singles.

Thomas will host their first match Thursday, September 1, as they face the University of Southern Maine at 4:00 p.m. in the Harold Alfond Athletic Center.
