Thomas Falls to Crosstown Foe Colby, 8-0

WATERVILLE, ME – Thomas could not contain their crosstown rival Colby, being swept by them 8-0 in a non-conference tennis match on Saturday morning. The host Mules took all but eight of the flights to coast to victory.

Lindsey Allen in number four singles battled to a 6-2, 6-1 loss in her second NCAA contest, while the combination of Allen and Jessica Bowen played to an 8-2 loss in number one doubles.

Thomas will begin conference play next weekend as they play host to Johnson State on Friday and Lyndon State on Saturday. The Terriers swept the two-match series with both squads last season.
