  • Bowen Named NEAC East Rookie of the Year

    Whitingham, Vt. – Thomas College first year Jessica Bowen has been named North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division Rookie of the Year as announce by the conference office on Monday. Bowen picks up the honors after compiling six total wins against conference opponents at number one singles and doubles.
  • Terriers Drop One to Lyndon

    Waterville, Maine—Today the Thomas College Women’s Tennis team was defeated 7-2 by North Atlantic Conference foe Lyndon College. The Terriers took two out of the three doubles matches but were not able to get by the Hornets in singles action.
  • Terriers Pick Up Second Win

    Waterville, Maine—Today the Thomas College Women’s Tennis team notched their second win as a varsity program defeating the Badgers of Johnson State College 7-2. The Terriers won five out of six singles matches and two out of three doubles matches.

    Rutland, Vt. – The Thomas College women’s tennis team fell to the Spartans of Castleton State 9-0, Sunday afternoon in a North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division match. With the loss the Terriers fall to 1-8 (1-5 NEAC East) on the season.

    Newport, N.H. – The Thomas College women’s tennis team was swept 6-0 by the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer in a North Eastern Athletic Conference East Division match up Saturday afternoon.
  • Terriers Drop One to USM 8-1

    Gorham, Maine – The Thomas College women’s tennis team fell 8-1 in a non-conference match with the Huskies of the University of Southern Maine. The loss is the second in a row for the Terriers and drops them to record of 1-6 (1-3 NEAC East) while the USM Huskies improve to 3-3.

    Paxton, Mass. – The Thomas College women’s tennis team dropped a non-conference match 5-4, to the Amcats of Anna Maria. First year Jessica Bowen earned her third straight win at number one singles for the Terriers in the loss.

    Johnson, Vt. – The Thomas College women’s tennis team made history on Sunday afternoon as they won their first match as a varsity program defeating Johnson State 7-2. The Terriers won four matches in singles play and swept the Badgers in doubles to take the win.
  • Bowen Earns First Career Win in Terriers Loss

    Lyndonville, Vt. – Thomas College first year Jessica Bowen notched her first career victory in singles action this afternoon against Kelsey Johnson of Lyndon College. Bowen’s victory would be the only points the Terriers would put up as they fell to the Hornets 8-1.

    Waterville, Maine – The Castleton State Spartans were too much for the Thomas College women’s tennis team to handle this afternoon as they downed the Terriers 9-0. With the loss Thomas falls to 0-2; (0-1 NAC East Division) while Castleton picks up their first victory of the year (1-1, 1-0 NAC East Division).
  • Huskies down Terriers in Season Opener

    Waterville, Maine – The Thomas College women’s tennis team kicked off their 2011 season this afternoon in the Harold Alfond Athletic Center against the University of Southern Maine. In front of a large crowd the visiting Huskies were able to defeat Thomas 2-7.
